Faith is the confidence, (the knowing), that what we hope for is going to happen. It’s the evidence of things we cannot see (Hebrews 11:1).
Well for some people it means; to wish for, to expect something, but without certainty of receiving it. But to God, hope is a promise, it’s the strong and confident expectation of things that are yet to come. And it’s the trust that that promise will be kept.
I know that God is. And that knowing is my faith. And I know that Jesus died for my sins and the sins of the world. That he was crucified, and that on the third day he rose again. That he sits at the right hand of God the Father, and that he will return to walk on this earth again. And that is God’s promise. And that promise of salvation through Christ is where I place my trust in God.
Jesus said “You are the light of the world- like a city on a mountain, glowing in the night for all to see. Don’t hide your light under a basket! Instead, put it on a stand and let it shine for all.” Mat 5: 14-15.
Our Mission is to be that light, and to lead people out of the darkness you God the Father through Jesus Christ.
“I want to tell you a little about who I am, and why this is so important to all of us.
I grew up in a religious setting, my our faith was very important me. But my dreams of heaven turned into hell. My stepdad was an abusive alcoholic and all of us paid for his drinking. I begged God for death, and when it didn’t come, I began hating him. I cursed God and I turned my back on him. For over twenty years I carried that hate. I don’t know why, but God loved me enough to wait for me. To give me a new life.
